                 First division team Buccaneers are looking to strengthen their team for the 2024 25 season

                       It is with sadness that I have to report the death of a once regular indoor bowler for his Club and County

                       Ray Bradbeer, husband of Eileen sadly passed away last week.

                   Excellent nights bowling in the Pairs merits at Wolstanton HS. All players found the mat challenging at first but

 got to grips with it  to produce two good semi finals before an excellent final between last years winners Karl Grocott & Josh Towey

   and Baddeley Green Ex pair Richie Walsh and Matty Rushton.  After eight ends, the score was five each, on the nineth, the challengers

scored a brace before a really close final end with touchers from both pairs, Matty scoring the final chalk adfter Josh only just failed 

with his final bowl, the Baddeley green pair running out eight five winners. thanks to all for taking part, and many thanks to

Lee Thursfield and Jamie for allowing us the use of their club.

                         So once a match has been won, irrespective of ends played, Please end the match.

FOOTWEAR AT MATCHES

FOOTWARE

Would all clubs ensure this season that all their players have a change of footware and that it is used before stepping on any mat. There is a rule in the book covering this but it is common courtesy to do so.

Rule 7 Footwear

Bowling Shoes or any smooth heel-less footwear must be worn while playing on the rink mat, and these must be other than the ones worn whilst travelling to the venue.
