The next meeting is 17th March 2025 at Barrfield at midday. I have sent delegates an email about the fees payable at this meeting. I still beed the bowlers to register for Albert Park and Barrfield.

COMPETITIONS 2025
Gold Cup - 6th & 8th May 2025. Qualifying greens - Albert Park or Langworthy. Final at the Height. Names by 29th April, 2025
Merit - 3rd & 5th June 2025. Qualifying greens - Barrfield or Chandos. Final at Ordsall. Names by the meeting on 12th May 2025
Langworthy - 8th & 10 h July 2025. Qualifying greens Ordsall or Chandos- . Final at Langworthy.
Harry Howarth - 5th & 7th August 2025. Qualifying greens - Height or Barrfield Final at Albert Park.
5-a-side competition - 9th & 11th September 2025. Qualifying Victoria Park or Moorlands, Final to be decided.
Best v the Rest - 16th September 2025 at Moorlands.

Best v The Rest and presentation 2024
Congratulations to Winton for winning the competition against players from the Rest of the League. Unfortunately it rained for most of the afternoon.
The presentation for winners was made by Ian Blythe. The raffle was drawn before the players enjoyed the buffet.

Amended draw for the competition:
The winners were Winton. Phil Pickford, Vinny Walker, John Armstrong, Ian Blythe, Derek Hanson, Patricia Pope and John McAuley. The other finalists were Langworthy.
Harry Howarth winner 2024
Congratulations to Steve (Curly) Pritchard (Barrfield) the winner of the competition beating Jeff Mason (Langworthy). The other semi finalists were Bob Helps (Height) and Brian Johnson |(Chandos).
Langworthy Competition winner 2024
Thank you to Langworthy for hosting the final. Congratulations to Chris Marsden (Barrfield) the winner of the competition receiving the cup from Alan Scoresby

Merit competition winner 2024
Congratulations to Pete Largan (Chandos) the winner of the competition and Steve "Curly" Pritchard (Barrfield) the runner up.
Pete beat Bob Helps (Height) and Steve beat Joy Bach (Barrield) in the semi finals.
Thanks to Chandos and Brian Johnson for hosting the competition on what turned out to be a sunny day.

AGM 21st October 2024
The AGM will be held at Barrfield on MOnday 21st October at 12.00am. Please be aware that the car park is not available on the day as the Club are having work done.

Roy Poole funeral
Sadly Roy (Albert Park) died on Tuesday 30th July. His funeral is at Agecroft on 19th August at 1pm.
