Gold Cup 2026 winner
Congratulations to Brian Johnson (Chandos) who won the game following a close final against Johnny Graham (Albert Park). The other semi finalists were Andy Shaw (Victoria Park) and Ken Watson (Height).
Special wishes to Johnny Graham for his birthday tomorrow.

Winner to represent Greater Manchester in the BCGBA Veterans Merit
on Wed 1st July at Prees BC, SY13 2DQ
Entrants must be 60+ by this date
Entry fee 10 pounds,
of which at least 40% will be paid out as prize money
(5 pounds of the entry fee is the BCGBA entry levy)

The next meeting is on Monday 16th March at midday at Moorlands Social Club. Please bring the BCGBA /GMCCGBA fee of £57.50.

COMPETITION 2026
Gold cup – 5th May. Qualifying greens Barrfield and Moorlands. Final on 7th May at Chandos.
Merit – 2nd June. Qualifying greens Albert Park and Victoria Park. Final on 4th June at Ordsall.
Langworthy – 7th July. Qualifying greens Chandos and Height. Final 9th July at Langworthy.
Harry Howarth –4th August. Qualifying greens Langworthy and Ordsall. Final 6th August at Albert Park.
The 5-a-side competition would be 8th-10th September.
The Best v The Rest and presentation will be held on 17th September at Moorlands.
