North Staffordshire Parks League

The winner on the day was Joe Melvin Wolstanton High Street who beat Paul Brown in the final 21-15 Joe and Paul qualified for the national final where theu will be joined by Barry Booth Wolstanton High Street and Kerry Morris Birches Head hotel beaten Semi finalists and also Mark Melvin and Mick Beeston both Wolstanton High Street Steve Lovatt Clough Hall and Phil Hussey London Road all qualify as well for the national Finals which will be played at Dilhorne on 22nd September good luck to all those bowlers

The final of the Stubbs trophy will be played on 7th September the finalists are Little Stoke B and London Road B both clubs are off 10 this will be played at Florence T/B 2pm start

The competition for the North Staffs Parks Pairs well be played on the 30th June at London Road Bowling Club, the draw will take place at 9.45 no pairs not there then will be scratched .Dress Code applies any queries please contact Ann Jones

North Staffs Parks Merit

On saturday 8th June 31 bowlers took part in the parks merit at Oakhill bowling club after a long days bowling Nick Tideswell Burslem CC Won after beating Josh Towey Wolstanton High Street in the Final 21 - 7 both Nick and Josh and the 2 beaten Semi Finalists Ant Lloyd Florence T/B and Matt Hill Fenton Private will be going to the British Parks merits Final on August 27th in South Yorkshire Good Luck to all 4 bowlers
