North Staffordshire Parks Crown Green Bowling Association operates 2 Leagues comprising of 4 divisions on Thursdays and Saturdays for Men and Women, along with Team and Individual/Doubles Merit competitions
We are based within Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, and surrounding areas and have been proudly running since 1912.

Senior County Championship Dates
INDIVIDUAL MERITS DRESS CODE
In light of the current weather, we are relaxing the dress code for tomorrow's Merits!
However this does not extend to footwear. Open toe and open heel footwear will not be allowed.
Forecast Hot Weather Thursday 25th June
The Association has decided that if clubs wish to rearrange Thursday matches due to the extreme heat forecast, this is acceptable under the Inclement Weather ruling.
Please remember to inform the Match Fixtures Secretary of the postponement immediately, and of the future date of the rearranged fixture within 28days of the original fixture.
Parks Individual Merit
The North Staffs Parks Individual Merit is on 27th June starting at 09.45.
Venue: Wolstanton Park/Marsh. ST5 0ED. what3words ///treat.prom.allow
Players need to report to the Competitions Secretary at the venue by 09.40 or will be scratched, as draw done on the morning.
DRESS CODE APPLIES, NO EXCEPTION. Tailored Shorts premitted, ie, golf shorts.
The competition will be available to view game by game on this website, on the day, via a link on the Saturday League page.
Upto 16 players will qualify from this event for the British Parks Merit Finals Day, which is being played this year at Leek BC, Beggars Lane, on 30th August!

Individual Merit
Please remember to send in your entries for the Individual Merit by Sat 6th June.
The compitition will take place on 27th June at a venue to be determined following the reciept of entries.

Parking Changes at Alsager
Unfortunately as from the 15th May all bowlers will not be allowed to park on the car park behind the green
Bowlers with disabled stickers will be able to park down the side of the green, but everyone else will have to park on the main road (Sandbach Road North).
Asda car park near to to the supermarket has a 2 hour free parking and the the other end which is pay to park is free after 3.00pm. Obviously this will not help the bowlers during the afternoon games.
Presidents Cup First Round
The First round of results of the Inaugural Presidents Cup are now in!
It was great to hear from teams who enjoyed playing against some new faces and at new venues!

Over 60s
Any players over 60 before the season starts, wishing to be considered for selection for the Vets Parks County side, please contact Barry Orpe on 07968317095.
He or one of the other selectors will then keep an eye on your results and turn up to watch some of your games for consideration. Good Luck!
Player Registrations
With the start of the season imminent, please double check your list of registered players for both Thursday and Saturday is correct.
Players not registered before the commencement of a fixture will be recorded as absent, resulting in a 21-0 loss.
If you need players adding, or even removing, please e-mail or WhatsApp Lee Thursfield asap and these will be ammended.
Please be advised, due to work commitments, especially on a Thursday, I may not be able to answer/respond immediatley. However your e-mail or WhatsApp message will be time stamped and the registration backdated to meet the time of your message.
Final Day for registrations is 30th July.
