Match Score Card
The Trafford Evening Bowling League was founded in 1981 by Jeanne Everall and Beryl Kirby. The original 1st Division Championship Trophy was donated by Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council, hence the name of the league. Since its humble beginning it has now grown to three divisions, currently consisting of 35 teams. Matches are played on Thursday evening and teams are to consist of 10 players (men and women), there must be a minimum of one lady and one gentleman in each team.
We stage three individual competitions each season which are:-
- The Jean Everall Memorial Trophy League Merit
- The Beryl Kirby Memorial Trophy League Handicap
- The Alan Wilkinson Trophy Award of Merit
We also hold a mixed pairs competition which is:-
- The Doris Armson Memorial Trophy Mixed Pairs

Beryl Kirby Memorial League Handicap 2024 - Result
This competition was held on Saturday 6th July 2024 at Flixton Conservative Club. After a great day's bowling Geoff Russell lifted the trophy, beating John Merrell in the final 21-16. The finalist are pictured below with John Sleigh, the League President.
Jean Everall League Merit 2024 - Result
The Jean Everall Merit was held at Brooklands Sports Club on Saturday 15th June. There was some excellent bowling throughout the competition with Steve Ridley and Dominic King reaching the final. In a closely fought contest, Steve ended up the victor by a score of 21-16. Thanks go to Brooklands for hosting, Ian Thompson, Steve Ridley, Dave Mulrooney and Lindsay Mulrooney for organising, and everyone else for helping to make the event a success. Season 2024 - Doris Armson Memorial Pairs
This competition will be held on Sunday 28th July 2024 at Legh Arms. Start 10.30am.

This competition wil be held on Sunday 8th September 2024 at Sale Excelsior. Start 10.00am
Season 2024 - Annual Presentation Night
The Presentation Night for the 2024 season will be on Friday 24th January 2025 at 7.30pm at the LMRCA Club in Stretford. (to be confirmed) The address is 837-839 Chester Road, Stretford, M32 0RN.
