Welcome to the web site of the Stockport Ladies Tuesday Afternoon league.

The League consists of 9 teams, with 8 players, who play on Tuesday afternoons in the Stockport and Hyde area. Matches start at 1.30 p.m.

All meetings are held at Alexandra Park and start at 2.00 p.m.

The Pairs Event and Champions v The Rest start at 1.30 p.m.

Presentation Lunch Arrival 12.30 p.m. Meal is served at 1.00 p.m. Venue to be announced.

League Treasurer

Doreen Scotte has decided to resign from her role as Treasurer. I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of us all, to thank Doreen for all her hard work over the last four years. We now need a volunteer to take on the role of Treasurer. There are three meetings to attend each season and possibly a committee meeting but only when necessary. The Treasurer collects all the money at the registration meeting, goes to the bank when necessary, distributes money to teams to buy raffle prizes for the Pairs event and The Champions v The Rest, organises all prize monies and presents an annual report at the AGM. Doreen is very willing to work with the new Treasurer until they are confident with the role. Myself and Gail Knowles will also provide support.

I know everyone has a busy life but this role isn't too time consuming and taking it on will be a great help to the Committee (there are only two of us now and we already have a busy workload).
