The League

Welcome to the web site of the Stockport Ladies Tuesday Afternoon league.

The League consists of 10 teams, with 8 players, who play on Tuesday afternoons in the Stockport and Hyde area. Matches start at 1.30 p.m.

Thank you to everyone who supported the League Pairs Finals this afternoon. There was some excellent bowling in both the semi final and the final.

Semi final results:

Chris Bates (Cale Green) and Pauline Camp (South Reddish)  beat Gail Knowles (Hyde Park) and Angela Roberts (Torkington) 21-15

Maureen Little (South Reddish) and Gail Gregory (Thornfield) beat Ann Roscoe (Shaw Heath) and Judy Hughes (South Reddish) 21-20

Final

Chris Bates and Pauline Camp beat Maureen Little and Gail Gregory 21-14

Presentation Lunch

Again, this will be held at the Alma Lodge Hotel on Tuesday, September 17.

Arrival 12.30 pm. Meal served at 1.00 pm.

The price is £30 and there are three courses to choose from followed by tea or coffee.

This is a very nice, sociable lunch in comfortable surroundings and it was extremely popular and enjoyable last year.

The Presentation follows after the meal and we celebrate achievements. Successful Clubs/bowlers are presented with their trophies and prize money.

The lunch is a very nice way to complete the season and I am looking forward to seeing lots of you there again.
